My name is Bosa. I’m a leader and a visionary who trusts God to do what He said He would. I’m 25, I live in Dallas, Texas and I truly believe that love will change the world. I love my family, friends, coffee, macaroons, hats, and above all Jesus! I’m one of 4. I’m a twin and my little brothers are also twins.  I went to Oral Roberts University and graduated with an Accounting degree in 2013.  Since I was young, the arts have always intrigued me, and now I’m blessed to be able to explore more of those interests.

dEPRESSION IS REAL...BUT LOVE

Why do you do what you do?

My team and I do what we do because honestly, why not? Turn My Life Up is around to help motivate people to love without agenda. We believe love will change the world and we seek to engage culture with it DAILY. We are committed to seeing lives amplified through the power of love. We accomplish this through several different ventures.

Love is THE mission and freedom is THE vision. When we walk in love not only are we helping others but we begin to live life on a whole different level!

What inspired you to start your business?

I always felt like the kid that slipped through the cracks. I felt forgotten and alone. It was my senior year in high school and I felt like I could not go forward anymore. One day a random girl walked up to me and gave me a hug. In that hug I truly felt God’s love. Such a small thing impacted my life tremendously. I decided I would do the same thing in college. After graduating from ORU, I realized that I wasn’t the only one dealing with depression and feeling alone.  That is when Turn My Life Up started.

How did you start your business?

I followed my heart. I prayed. I asked questions. I sought advice.  We are still trying to get things in order, but I’ve learned that success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes a long time to become an overnight success and I’m ok with going on the journey.

What advice would you give to other young, aspiring entrepreneurs?

Ask questions, get advice. You don’t know it all and you never will make sure you have people around you that are able to add to your vision. They can help paint a better picture for you.

Don’t give up. Don’t let go of your vision. It’s not easy but that’s why we have community. No one is above getting helping. No one is above asking questions. Admitting that you don’t know is the first step to breakthrough. One of our core values at TMLU is transparency. We say “transparency brings victory”.

Don’t lose sight of your vision. Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in the details. Find a healthy balance.

Pray and read. “If you don't like to learn you will become obsolete.”

Learn to affirm yourself, if you don’t others won’t. I say I’m a leader and a visionary as a reminder to myself. It’s not for any other person.
